Bartholomew River Trail Bridge Repairs Underway

Bartholomew River Train Bridge

FREDERICTON (CNB) – Repairs have begun to parts of the Sentier NB Trail, crucial links for snowmobile and ATV routes, and are expected to be completed by Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Three sites are under repair:

  • the Upsalquitch River Trail bridge, 10 km upstream from Route 17;
  • the Bartholomew River Trail bridge in Blackville; and
  • a culvert along the St. John River Trail, 10 km south of Hartland, which is being replaced.

These structures may be closed while being repaired. The repairs are part of the Department of Natural Resources’ $2.1-million capital budget for Sentier NB Trail bridge repairs in the 2009-10 fiscal year.
